Overview

If a previously connected ad account loses its authorization — for example, after a password change, token expiry, or permission update — GoMarble will prompt you to reconnect it. This article explains how the reconnect flow works and what to expect when you re-authorize a saved ad account.

What is the reconnect flow?

The reconnect flow is a re-authorization process for ad accounts that are already saved in GoMarble. It is separate from connecting a brand-new account. When you reconnect, GoMarble uses OAuth to securely verify your credentials with the ad platform again — without requiring you to set up the account from scratch.

What's new

  • The OAuth reconnect flow now completes reliably for saved ad accounts.

  • Your access level settings are automatically saved and restored — you will not need to re-enter or re-configure them after reconnecting.

How to reconnect a saved ad account

  1. Navigate to the Connectors section in GoMarble.

  2. Locate the ad account that requires reconnection. It will typically be flagged or shown with a warning indicating that re-authorization is needed.

  3. Click the option to reconnect the account.

  4. You will be redirected to the ad platform's login and authorization page (for example, Google, Meta, or LinkedIn).

  5. Log in and grant the requested permissions.

  6. Once authorization is complete, you will be returned to GoMarble. Your account will be reconnected and your previously saved access level settings will be restored automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Will I lose my access level settings when I reconnect?

No. GoMarble now persists access level configurations for saved ad accounts. Your settings will be restored automatically after you complete the reconnect flow.

Does reconnecting create a duplicate account?

No. The reconnect flow re-authorizes your existing saved account — it does not create a new one.

Which ad platforms support this reconnect flow?

The reconnect flow is available for ad accounts that were originally connected via OAuth, including Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.

What should I do if the reconnect flow does not complete successfully?

Make sure you are logged into the correct account on the ad platform before starting the reconnect flow. If the issue persists, please contact GoMarble Support.
